Geert Bekaert teaches global investments and asset management at Columbia Business School. His research focuses on international finance, emerging markets, empirical asset pricing, and portfolio management, and has been supported by NSF grants. He has drafted over sixty articles in top academic journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies, among others. He is Co-Managing Editor at the Journal of Banking and Finance, is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, consults for the European Central Bank and litigation support firms, and is associated with several FinTech ventures.

Robert Hodrick teaches international capital markets and corporate finance for M.B.A.s and empirical asset pricing and econometrics for Ph.D.s at Columbia Business School. His research examines theoretical, empirical and econometric issues in asset pricing as related to equities, bonds and currencies and has been supported by NSF grants. He has drafted over forty articles in top academic journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies, among others, and is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economics and has been a consultant to the IMF and San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank.
